Team History

Team 1719 was created in preparation for the 2006 FRC season, by a Park School parent whose son had a keen interest in robotics. The concept of an "umbrella" team, accepting students from outside of Park, recognized that a school as small as Park would face challenges fielding a team of sufficient size. Our first year included students from Park, Aberdeen High School, and Loyola, and the team has had at least one student (and usually more) from outside of Park every year since. These students have not only contributed to the growth of the team by their presence, but their parents have been a critical resource, providing many of our strongest mentors and volunteers.  Below are some archived photographs, website screen shots, and the team poster from the 2006 inaugural season.
